there's another slug of some cold air and then back up into canada. that's the cold air that's really going to start settling in here for tuesday and wednesday and thursday as well. it will take our temperatures right back into the 30s. and it looks like we'll have a hard time getting into the middle 30s, okay. so just so you know, the colder air is on the way. we've had high pressure today but notice the clouds kind of on the increase coming across western maryland here. and a lot of snow moving through ohio. this is not going to get here. anything that comes across the mountains will stay just to the north of us. maybe northern sections of maryland get a little sprinkle or a little snow flake. but look at this. most of it getting up into pennsylvania and then you can see it's having a hard time as it's coming across the mountains. but speaking of the mountains for western maryland, back out into extreme western virginia and then eastern west virginia, looks like they'll have a chance of maybe getting four to six inches of snow over th next couple of

there is some very, very cold air up in to canada and that looks look it's going break free now and start to make a run for us. and by wednesday, which, of course, is great getaway day, cold air in place back to the northwest and right along this frontal system, this is wednesday, there is going to be? showers. and it looks like here in washington, we could have some showers, too, and then up into the central plains, the very cold air there is going to be some snow. not too heavy and so you know, right now across the country next wednesday, it does not look like there should be any major travel problems. but, long this frontal system, along with the cold air meeting the warm air, there is going to be a big storm brewing and it looks like it's going to cut right up through the midwest, stay northwest of us. we'll stay in the warm air at least on thursday and thanksgiving. we'll have some rain and then after thanksgiving, that real cold air starts to come on across. another frontal system back out to the west of us and the rain missed us. it kind of gobbled up by the mountains and drier air
